Mobi wins BOY (Best of Year) Award of Interior Design Magazine

At the end of every year, BOY (Best of Year) Awards organized by Interior Design magazine recognizes and honors the very best of design. Followed closely by the design industry, the prestigious competition brings together designers, products and projects from all over the world and plays a significant role in determining future of design trends.  

In December 2021, the 16th anniversary of the competition, Mobi’s Versus Collection, designed by A. Rasit Karaaslan, has won the BOY (Best of Year) Award in Residential Storage

category.

Versus Collection pieces are distinguished by the solid walnut legs that elegantly wrap around cabinets. Rounded corners, soft lines and the use of ribbed solid wood create a play of light and shadow, giving Versus a sculpturesque look. The sophisticated sunken marble top is another detail that repeats throughout the collection. 

Versus Sideboard was the first piece of the collection that was showcased at the Supersalone in Milan in September 2021. Designer A. Rasit Karaaslan is planning to debut other pieces of the Versus Collection in Salone Internazionale del Mobile exhibition in Milan, which is expected to be held in April 2022.
